Earl W. Freeman

December 30, 1926 — January 31, 2007

Earl W. Freeman, 80, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Newark Health Care Center, Newark. He was born December 30, 1926 in Hocking County, son of the late John and Goldie Pearl Montgomery Freeman. Earl was married for 59 years to Eva Williams Freeman who survives.

He was a retired truck driver and a WWII Navy Veteran.

Earl is survived by one son, Steve Kathy Freeman of Ada, Michigan; five grandchildren, Melissa Michael Mumper Freeman, Nathan Kerry Freeman, Bethany Charles Willis, Tessa Freeman and Tyler Freeman and four great grandchildren, Jackson Mumper, Patrick and Kelly Freeman and Abby Willis.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Kenneth Freeman and one sister, Opal Shaw.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Vernon Barrell officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
