Catherine M. Mcafooes

Catherine M. McAfooes, 82, of Logan, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born September 15, 1924 in Ottumwa, Iowa, daughter of the late George and Hazel Wilt Barnes. Catherine is the widow of the late William McAfooes.

She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Logan.

Catherine is survived by two daughters, Julie McAfooes of Logan and Linda Tom Moorehead of Louisville, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Barnes and Kitty Schorr and one brother, Albert Barnes.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Gerald Frazee officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 3-6 P.M. and on Sunday from 2-5 P.M.
