Betty Jane Grinstead

Betty Jane Grinstead, 84, of Glouster, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. She was born August 30, 1922 in Glouster, daughter of the late George and Isabel McMahon Thompson Sr. Betty is the widow of the late Elden M. Grinstead Sr.

She was a retired bookkeeper and formerly attended the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Glouster.

Betty is survived by one son, Elden M. Molly Grinstead Jr. of Brunswick, Ohio; two grandchildren, Joseph Grinstead of San Antonio, Texas and Kati Gryn of Twentynine Palms, California; three great grandchildren, Noah and Hayleigh Gryn and Tyler Christine Grinstead and one sister, Beatrice Click of Bakersfield, California.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Phil Young and George and Robert Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home 30 Main St., Glouster with Father John Mucha officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
