Carolyn Ann Pyle Carsey

June 13, 1942 — February 28, 2007

Carolyn Ann Pyle Carsey, 64, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 13, 1942 in Athens County, daughter of the late Edward Earl Pyle and Irene A. Jackson Pyle Freeman.

Carolyn was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church of Buchtel.

She is survived by nine children, Thomas Tamara Carsey of Athens, Annette Rodney Rutter of Millfield, Jeanette Jerry Draper of Millfield, Nannette Steven Justus of Logan, Juanita Carsey of Athens, Diana Tony Burritt of Chauncey, Michael Tara Carsey of Glouster, Richard Rebecca Carsey of Sharpsburg and Patty Scott Hall of The Plains; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one brother, Randy Cindy Pyle of Chauncey; several nieces and nephews and special friend Thomas W. Carsey of Athens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy A. Carsey; a sister Joyce Graves; a brother James Pyle; a stepfather Donald Freeman and son-in-law Bryan ?Peak? Rutter.

Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Brother Terry Spangler and Sister Tina Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery in Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the services on Sunday.
