Edward C. Dickerson

Edward C. Dickerson, 83, of Logan, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born September 2, 1923 in Jackson County, son of the late Edward W. and Esther E. Ervin Dickerson. Edward was married to Letta Lee Tracy Dickerson who passed away in 1999.

He retired from Diamond Brick Plant, was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of Coonville Holiness Mission.

Edward was survived by two sons, Steven Chris Dickerson of Logan and Gary Dickerson of Lancaster; two daughters, Linda Larry McAfee of Lancaster and Sandra Dickerson of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Nathan Dickerson of Grove City and Cheryl McAfee of Lancaster and two sisters, Monet Young of Youngstown and Edna.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. James Mathias officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County with military graveside services conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from noon until the time of service.
