Marion Dupler

January 28, 1917 — April 15, 2007

Marion ?Danny? E. Dupler, 90, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1917 in Athens County, Ohio. Danny was married to Bertie Lou Freeman Spangler Dupler, who survives.

He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, was a member of the Free Pentecostal church of Jesus in Buchtel and was a WWII Army Veteran.

In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by four sons, Lloyd Gloria Spangler of Corning, Bob Linda Spangler of Corning, Terry Pat Spangler of Logan and Sylvester Bailey of Carbon Hill; nine daughters, Barbara Ronald Witham of The Plains, Konnita Sherrod of Logan, Cyndi Frank Mosure of Logan, Stephanie Randy Paige of Corning, Evelyn Robert Primmer of Lancaster, Cheryl Willard O?Nail of Nelsonville, Pam Alan Ramsey of Lakeland, Florida, Doreen Tom Bailey of Rendville and Lisa Jeff Hatfield Flory of Rockbridge; eight grandchildren, Kathy Bauwens, Pam Paulsen, Sindy Ankeney, and Bridget Brown all of Virginia, Vickie Hurst of Michigan, Katrina Lankford of Georgia, Tim Hurst of California, and Karen Mosack of North Carolina; special daughter and caregiver, Evelyn Primmer and special granddaughter and caregiver Tina Spangler Brooks; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sue West and two sons, Mike Dupler ad Bob Moes.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Terry Spangler and Steve Dupler officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville where military graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
