Bermin Case

August 28, 1923 — April 21, 2007

Bermin Case, 83 of Wellston, formerly of Vinton County, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born August 28, 1923 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, son of the late Felix T. and Rana Frasure Case. Bermin was married to Lula Campbell Case, who survives.

He was a retired coal miner, former Richland Township Trustee, former Vinton County Dog Warden and former member of the Vinton County Democratic Central Committee and the Shiloh Home Coming Committee.

Bermin is survived by his wife, one son, Roger Case of McArthur; three daughters, Carolyn Dick Davenport of Pataskala, Donne Jeannie Thomas of McArthur and Cheryl Rik Perkins of Wellston; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one brother, Paul Case of Massilon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bettie Tinkham Case; five brothers, Worlie, Berlin, Verlin, Prock and Bill Case and one sister, Verlie Nixon.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor. Rondall Walker officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-9 P.M..

The family suggests contributions be made to the Winchester Community Church in memory of Bermin Case, 4088 C.H.and D. Rd., Oak Hill, OH 45656 in C/O Pastor Rondall Walker.
