Carol Diane Miller, 58, of Sugar Grove, Pa., formerly of Logan, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Warren General Hospital, NY.
Mrs. Miller was born in Hocking County, on September 2, 1948, the daughter of Wendell and Selma Phillips of Logan.
She graduated from Logan High School, Columbus Business School and Jamestown Community College where she received her Associate?s degree. She was a secretary at Logan-Hocking School district for several years, then was employed as a Bank Teller in Jamestown, NY, and was formerly the office manager of Grant Lumber in Sugar Grove, PA until she became co-owner in 1998. She belonged to the Sugar Grove Rod and Gun Club and Amvets Post #50. She loved to garden and especially loved flowers. She enjoyed sports and was a teddy bear collector. She will be remembered and deeply missed as loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Renae Brown of Mechansburg, PA.;
three sons, Philip Caudill of Sugar Grove, PA., Chad Jones of Sugar Grove, PA., James Miller of Youngsville, PA.; a sister, Wenda Armstrong of Logan, OH; two brothers, Robert W. Phillips of Logan, OH., Curtis Phillips of Logan, OH; five grandchildren, Adam Brown and Dylan Brown of Mechanisburg, PA, Nicole Caudill and Max Caudill of Sugar Grove, PA and Mikenzie Lynn Miller of Youngsville, PA
Funeral services will be held at McKinney Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., Sugar Grove, PA. at 4 pm on Sunday, May 6th, with Pastor Brian Haight and Mission Covenant Church officiating.
Friends are also invited to call Saturday 6-9 pm. at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. in Sugar Grove, PA.
Graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, on Monday at 2pm with Rev. Rick Bennington officiating. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
