Delores F. White, 78, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her residence. She was born March 27, 1929 in Creola, Ohio, daughter of the late Aaron and Jenny Mae Henry Norris. Delores was married to Owen White for 29 years, who survives.

She earned her Associates Degree from Hocking College and became a Social Worker and was a member of Community of Christ Church in Logan.

In addition to her husband, Delores is survived by three sons, Iven Lehman of Logan, Joe Bob Leffler of Nelsonville and Billy Dean Leffler of Saratoga, Wyoming; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Debbie Norris of Logan and Terry Margie Norris of Logan; three sisters, Selma Wendell Phillips of Union Furnace, Virginia Mingus of Rockbridge and Elaine Jerry Hart of Logan; many nieces and nephews and special friends Sister Regina and Millie Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Imogene Bownes and Karen Wood and two brothers, Stanley and William Norris.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Elder Virginia Mingus and Priest Marjorie Belville officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5-8 P.M.
