Ernest E. Schwalbach

Ernest E. ?Elmer? Schwalbach Sr., 82, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1924 in Hocking County, son of the late Luther and Anna Schwalbach. Elmer is married to Una Juan Schwalbach, who survives.

Elmer was a retired auto mechanic, WW II Army Veteran and a life member of the DAV and VFW.

He is survived by three sons, Ernie Jr., Rick and Terry; five daughters, D.D., Linda Lou, Linda, Judy and Saundra and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 with Pastor David Peoples officiating in Zion Cemetery in Hamden. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Vinton County VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Tuesday at 11 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
