Mary Ellen Calvert

Mary Ellen Calvert 81 of Buchtel, died June 15, 2007 in Doctors West Hospital, Columbus. She was born February 18, 1926 in Millfield, daughter of the late John and Nancy Hopkins Smith. She was married to Ray Calvert who survives.

Mary is survived by daughters Brenda Denver Conkel of Buchtel, and Ellen Arthur Waldbusser of Glouster. 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a sister Violet Simms of Alabama, special friend and neighbor Rita Dickerson of Buchtel, and brother in law Donald H. Calvert.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Phyllis Calvert, 2 sons Jack Smith and Don Calvert and a grandson Michael Levandofsky.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home 46 Fayette St. Nelsonville, with Rev. David Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 &6-8PM.
