Richard J. Williams

Richard J. Williams 81 of Hocking Co. passed away June 15, 2007 in Hocking Valley Community Hospital. He was born October 13, 1925 in Glouster, son of the late Charles E. and Maude Gardner Williams. He was married to Barbara L. Humphrey Williams who survives.

Richard was a retired supervisor in Aero Space Engineering, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of Immanuel U.M. Church, and a member of the Logan Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by a daughter Debora Newberry, 2 grandchildren Carson Gilfillan of Atlanta, Ga., Gregory Jana Gilfillan of Collinsville Oklahoma, and one sister Theo Lintala of Wooster.

Richard was preceded in death by a brother Ted Williams.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. No calling Hours will be observed. Arrangements are by the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan.
