Edward Wesley Allen

Edward Wesley Allen, 58, of Zaleski, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. He was born March 3, 1949 in Hocking County, son of the late Jesse Vernon and Beatrice Eleanora Hartman Allen.

He was previously employed at Diamond Stone in Albany.

Edward is survived by two sisters, Ruth Stimel of Nelsonville and Lelia David Rathburn of Zaleski and three brothers, Neil Sharon Allen of Nelsonville, Ron Sharon Allen of Albany and Jim Allen of Zaleski.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Larry Allen and one sister, Naomi Allen.

No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, with Rev. Ferrell Rood officiating. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, PO Box 302, McArthur, OH 45651 to help with funeral expenses.
