Flora E. Collier

Flora E. Collier, 93, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1914 in Little Elk, Kentucky, daughter of the late William C. and Belle Simpkim Mollet. Flora is the widow of the late William David Collier.

She was a retired school teacher in Eastern Kentucky.

Flora was survived by one son, Thomas Lena Collier of Wilkesville; one daughter, Ann Collier of Kentucky; five grandchildren; eight grandchildren and one sister, Ruth Jarrell of Ft. Scott, Kansas.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sons, Donald and William David Jr. Collier; three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Route 40 and Main St. PO Box 388, Inez, KY 41224. Interment will be in Warfield Cemetery, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W High St., McArthur on Saturday from 6-8 P.M. and at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home in Kentucky on Sunday from 5-8 P.M.
