Gina M. Adams

Gina Adams, 41, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, June 25, 2007 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1966 in Nelsonville, the daughter of Paul Davis of Nelsonville and Ann Monk Michael McGuire of The Plains. She was married to John E. Adams, of Nelsonville.

Gina was employed at Ohio University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Chemistry. She attended Connett United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, Gina is survived by two stepchildren, Thomas Lee Adams and Andrea Michelle Adams both of Nelsonville; brother, Robert Amanda Davis of Guysville; sisters, Jennifer Carl Moore of Doanville and Deana Adams of Chauncey; half brothers and sisters, John Jamie Davis of Grove City, Troy Karen Davis of Columbus, Brian Karen Davis of Logan, Jerry Bobbie Runyon of Syracuse, Mary Beth Harre of Savannah, Ga., Paula Mendawi of Circleville and Angie Carl Sarver of Hollister; paternal grandmother, Barbara Monk; aunt, Lora Jeff Handley of Logan; uncles, Terry June Monk and Gary Connie Phillips both of Nelsonville and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by half brother and sister, Jeff Davis and Robin Butcher; grandparents, Mildred and David Davis, Jack Phillips, Lettie Maye Phillips and Sherman Monk.

A Funeral service will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor David Cogar officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Friends and family may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
