Opal A. St Clair

Opal A. St Clair, 95, of Logan, went to be with the lord July 12, 2007. She was born February 12, 1912 in Gore, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles W. and Glada P. Redd Alltop. Opal was married to Edward St Clair, who survives. They were married for 72 years.

She was a member of Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Gideon?s International Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Marilyn A. Keith Richey of Centerville, Marty Chuck Smith of Logan and Mary K. Mike Glenn of Northville, Michigan; six grandchildren, Chris Larry Hurtubise, Denise Randy Griffith, Ed Sherry Richey, Scott Jennie Smith, Jaime Smith and Jeffrey Glenn; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille R. Rush and Anna Belle Smith both of Centerville; sister-in-law, Joan Jack Glick of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews.

Opal was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Geneva Alltop and Nora Arnett and one brother, Milo Alltop.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Jack Glick and Rev. Richard Purvis officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-6 P.M. and on Monday from 2-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorials may be given to Gideon?s International, PO Box 961, Logan, OH 43138.
