Michael Vernon Devol

Michael Vernon Devol, 67, of Carbon Hill, passed away, Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born July 9, 1940 in Carbon Hill, son of the late Russell K. ?Peck? and Opal G. Rieder Devol.

Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening and was a graduate of Carbon Hill High School.

He is survived by brothers, Dick Dixie Devol of East Canton and Dale Gloria Devol of Athens; nephew, Scott Kathy Devol of Canton and nieces, Vickie Bob Clapper of Louisville and Ashley Devol of Dublin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kenneth Devol.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Carbon Hill Cemetery with Rev. Nancy Giese officiating. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. No calling hours will be observed.
