Freda Mae Maggard Kazee

Freda Mae Maggard Kazee, 69, of McArthur, passed away July 27, 2007 at her residence. She was born October 10, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky, daughter of the late Osa and Eula Kilburn Maggard. Freda is the widow of the late Loyal John Kazee who passed away October 19, 1992.

She was a Psychiatric Aide Superrvisor at Columbus State Hospital for 19 years and a member of the Tower of Refuge Church of God.

She was survived by one son, Pastor Loyal Scott Julie Kazee of McArthur; two daughters, Linda James Dimel of Wellston and Lisa Timothy Causey of Wellston; eight grandchildren, Amanda, James, Kayla, Kimberly, Katie, Brittney, Timmy and Justin; one great grandchild, Luke and one brother, William Debbie Daniels of Johnston.

Freda is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Bruce and Herman Maggard.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2007 at the Tower of Refuge Church of God, McArthur, with Pastor Randall J. Barr officiating. Interment will be in Putnam Chapel Cemetery, Vinton County. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W High St., McArthur.
