Wanda L. Smith

Wanda L. Smith 83 of Nelsonville passed away August 20, 2007 at her residence. She was born January 20, 1924 in Nelsonville daughter of the late Harold and Leta Brown Dupler. She was the widow of the late Willard Smith.

Wanda retired from North American Rockwell in Columbus, was a member of the First Christian Church in Nelsonville and the Athens American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son Roy E. Judy Reed Smith of Athens, 2 grandchildren Jeremy J. Amy Smith and Brandy L. Shellman all of Albany. 2 great grandchildren Troy Knash and Madison Shellman. She also had a special friend Edna Guess of Nelsonville.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home 46 Fayette St. Nelsonville. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00AM until time of service.
