Mary Frances Winnett

Mary Frances ?Franny? Winnett, 70, of Londonderry, passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 28, 1936 in Eagle Mills, Ohio, daughter of the late Leslie and Walca Webb Stevens. Mary was married to James L. Winnett who survives.

She was a member of Christ in Christian Union Church in Eagle Mills and a member of the Vinton County Senior Citizens.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by five sons, James M. Nancy Winnett, Tim Trish Michaels Winnett, Matt Winnett, Leslie Tonya Winnett and Shawn Winnett all of Londonderry; three daughters, Joan Kenneth Bright of Batesville, Mississippi, Carmela Joe Eveland of South Bloomingville and Holly James Clary of Londonderry; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Anita Stevens; five sisters, Joyce Paul Lubaski, Carol Elsie Perry, Linda Sherrick, Sandra Lou Roberts and Gloria Gary Albright; sister-in-law, Mini Mert Stevens and many cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Doug Winnett; son-in-law, Ted Hart; Grandson, Clifton Stevens; Brother Bill Stevens; sister, Dorothy Gillman and dear friend Jerry Lease.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. Tom Estep officiating. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Eagle Mills. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
