Glenna Nadine Baker, 75, of Marion, formerly of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio. She was born April 21, 1932 in Clarion, Ohio, daughter of the late Ernest S. and Stella M. Thacker Denney. She was married to the late Clifford Baker who passed away October 22, 1965.
She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Zaleski and a 1949 graduate of Harding High School in Marion.
She is survived by one son, Eddie Lee Baker of Wakefield, Ohio; one sister, Shelba Delbert Stoneburner; two brothers, Ernest Norma Denney and Ronald Shirley Denney all of Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Glenna was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny and a brother Emory Bryan Denney.
Private funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at St. Sylvester Catholic Church with Reverend Fathers Richard Engle and Joe Trapp officiating. Interment will be in Davis Cemetery, Wilkesville. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
