Ray A. Pickett Sr.

Ray A. Pickett Sr. 62 of The Plains formerly of Nelsonville, passed away August 23, 2007 in Logan Health Care Center. He was born July 11, 1945 in
Nelsonville, son of the late Frank and Ruth Wood Pickett.

He was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator and a member of the Elks Lodge in Nelsonville.

Ray is survived by 3 sons Ray Pickett Jr., Timothy Michelle Pickett, and Tommy Shelia Pickett all of Nelsonville. 4 daughters Tina Rick Patterson
of Logan, Theresa Darren Hill of Logan, Myrriha Mathena of Nelsonville, and April George Eddy of Nelsonville. 18 grandchildren, 1 brother Jim
Dorothy Pickett Sr. of Nelsonville, 2 sisters Ruth Helen Don Teal of Logan and Cindy Richard Johnson of Nelsonville.

He was preceded in death by a sister Donna Gene Bruce and an infant brother
Frankie Pickett.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Sunday in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home 46 Fayette St. Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly officiating.
Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8PM and on Sunday 1 hour prior to the services.
