Florence M. Six

Florence M. Six, 88, of Logan, passed away, Thursday, August 23, 2007
at Logan Health Care Center. She was born February 2, 1919 in Perry County, the
daughter of the late Samuel and Goldie Pearl Maxwell McCormick. She was the widow of the late Wilford Six who she was married to for 38 years.

Florence was a lifelong homemaker and a member of the Union Furnace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by sons, Charles Linda Shahan of Edgar Springs, MO, Scotty Georgia Six of Rockbridge and Mack Connie McCormick of Deland, FL; daughters, Glenna Tom Miller and Wanda Larry Toops both of Logan, grandchildren, Jim Miller, Jayne Yates, Tara Brown, Larry Toops II, Collene Morrison, Ryan Six, Monica Brown and Joey Six; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Adcock of Logan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Marty Six; grandson, Douglas Six; sister, Isal Smathers; brother, John McCormick and daughter-in-law, Mona Six.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at
Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Interment will be at New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
