Garry Lee Daugherty

Garry Lee Daugherty, 67, of Nelsonville, passed away, Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born February 20, 1940 in Blacklick, son of the late Edward and Hattie Needles Daugherty.

He is survived by wife Marqueeta Hartman; a son, Jeffrey Scott Daugherty of Granville; daughters, Rebecca Tom Steenrod of Nelsonville and Carole Annette Bobby Booth of Zaleski; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; niece Rebecca John Sharp of Reynoldsburg; great niece, Shelli Peter Wiesenberg of Columbus; great nephew, Shane Knisley of Columbus; nephew, Steve Betty Daugherty of Ocala, Florida; sister, Jean Gross of Nelsonville; father-in-law, Carl Crihfield; sisters-in-law; Phyllis Clark of Pataskala and Sandra Ross of Nelsonville; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Billie Crihfield, Clinton Crihfield, Mike Judy Crihfield of Nelsonville and Walter Angie Crihfield of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Sholten, Betty Davis and Shirley Yates; brothers, Paul and William Daughtery; sister-in-law Carol Terrell and mother-in-law, Kathleen Crihfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 10, 2007 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Conner Cemetery, Buchtel. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
