Ila Marie Jenkins

Ila Marie Jenkins, 78, of The Plains, passed away, Monday, September 10, 2007 at O?Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. She was born August 24, 1929 in Chauncey, the daughter of the late Albert R. and Delpha Irene Cline Katzenbach. She was the widow of the late William Jenkins.

Ila was a member of The Plains Church of the Nazarene and formerly the Church of God. Many people will remember her as the friendly doorperson at the old Club 33.

She is survived by four daughters, Judy Croucher of The Plains, Linda Terry Forsythe of Chauncey, Carol Knight and Jane Cox both of The Plains; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Delores Stotts and grandsons, Larry and Jason Croucher.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Intombment will be at Athens Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
