Barbara Ellen Hunt

Barbara Ellen Workman, 42, of Parkton, North Carolina, formerly of Londonderry, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was born October 31, 1964 in Williamson, West Virginia, daughter of Herbert and Nancy McGuire Workman of Londonderry.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is survived by two sons, Jerrod L. and Jason L. Patterson both of McArthur; daughter, Jeanette L. Patterson of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Brookelyn Ann Patterson of Chillicothe and two brothers, Bud Workman of Londonderry and Jake Workman of Chillicothe.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jesse J. Workman.

Private Graveside services were held Friday, September 14, 2007 at Bobblett Cemetery, Vinton County, with Rev. James Taylor officiating. No calling hours were observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
