Ethel Cookie Pendleton

Ethel ?Cookie? Pendleton, 80, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Columbus Health Care Center in Columbus. She was born April 30, 1927 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late David and Stella Barker Brown. Ethel was married to the late Stanley Pendleton.

She was a cake decorator.

Ethel is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law, Virgie Brown of River, Kentucky.

She was the daughter-in-law of the late James and Faye Pendleton.

Ethel was preceded in death by four brothers, Estell, Escom, Herbert and Hershel Brown and five sisters, Lola Leasure, Dorothy Music, Rachel Brown, Hazel Ross and Louise Collinsworth.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. Danny Koch officiating. Interment will be in Radcliff Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of the services.
