Jody Sue Childress

Jody Sue Childress, 57, of Chauncey, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Twin Maples Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born October 5, 1950 in Marietta, Ohio, daughter of Doris Virgene Beveridge Childress of Chauncey and the late Dennis Hubert Childress.

Jody graduated from Athens High School in 1968.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Debbie Barry West of Albany; one brother, Lou Bonnie Childress of Millfield; nieces, Kelly West of Albany and Heather Jeff Warmke of Athens; nephew, Travis Carma West of Albany and special aunt, Hazel Post of Nelsonville.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 P.M.
