Dorothy Ann Gregory

Dorothy Ann Gregory, 81, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at her residence. She was born October 21, 1926 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Howard and Iva Valentine Graves. Dorothy is the widow of the late William Lewis Gregory.

She retired from Austin Powder, was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in McArthur and the VFW Auxiliary in McArthur.

She is survived by two sons, James W. Carolyn Gregory of Wellston and Stephen Renea Gregory of Piketon; one daughter, Jean Terry Goodman of McArthur; grandchildren, Rusty and Richie Gregory, Rob and Jennifer Devlin, Kevin and Stephanie Casto, Carmen Bartoe, Keith and Tabitha McDaniel-Martin, Stephen and Tara Richards and Shane and Wendi Goodman; fourteen great grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, Ethel Tripp, Jo Poole, Merle Patterson and Freda Graves and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett, Kenneth and Jerry Graves; one great grandson, Ayden Howard and grandparents, Rufus and Ida Graves.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M., Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Grace Baptist Church, 201 E. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Matt Gapinski officiating. Interment will be in Hamden Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Sunday from 5-8 P.M.
