Gregery Eugene Porter

Gregery Eugene Porter, 26, of Logan, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born March 29, 1981 in Columbus, son of Matthew Boyd and Cheryl Ann Rodgers Porter of Lancaster. Greg was married to Summer Phillips-Porter who survives.

He was employed by Clear Advantage Car Wash Systems and a member of United Pilgrim Church in Royalton, Ohio. His family and friends meant everything to him.

In addition to his parents and wife, Greg is survived by two brothers, Jamie L and Kaylon M. Cottrill both of Lancaster; one sister, Terra L. Christopher Cottrill Blair of Lancaster; two nieces, Amy and Brittney Shafer of Lancaster; grandfather, John M. Rodgers Sr. of Lancaster and his god son, Parker Hughes of Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juanita Rodgers, Sarah Porter and Odell Porter.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with cremation to follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
