Jack Holsinger, 64, of McArthur, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio, son of the late Carl and Daisy Tackett Holsinger. Jack is married to Janet E. Archer Holsinger, who survives.
He was a mechanic, tree trimmer and a farmer. Jack built Bollin Mills Community Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jack David Debra Holsinger of McArthur and Chris Chantel Holsinger of Hamden; two daughters, Ellen Morris of McArthur and Chasitiy Mike Sowers of McArthur; thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one on the way; eight brothers; nine sisters, and special sisters and brothers-in-laws, Pat and Jack Gibson and June and David Wise.
He was preceded in death by one son, Delbert Holsinger and one daughter, Katherine Holsinger.
Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Monday, November 5, 2007 at Zaleski Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in Madison Township Cemetery, Zaleski. Friends may call at the Zaleski Free Will Baptist Church on Sunday anytime after 12 noon and Monday up until the time of the services. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
