Castleane B. Mccune

Castleane B. McCune, 87, of Logan, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born December 18, 1919 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late James and Mary Carder Andy. Castleane was married for 60 years to Dean W. McCune, who survives.

She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Gregory Laurene McCune of Logan; two grandchildren, Chelsey and Jessica McCune; two brothers, Harry Ralph Andy of Arizona and Clement Earl Andy of Springfield Ohio; three sisters, Ruby R. Vance of Logan, Alice Irene Ferguson of New Boston Michigan, and Retha L. Burrington of Cincinnati and special friends, Mary Moore and Ann Jefferys both of Lancaster.

Castleane was preceded in death by her brothers, Earnest Merle and Harold Jackson Andy and James Carder and sisters, Hazel Jane Andy and Goldie Mae Andy.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M, Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. John Williams officiating. Interment will be in Keeton Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
