Arthur Brewer Jr.

Arthur Brewer Jr., 83, of McArthur, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born July 20, 1924 in Adams County, Ohio, son of the late Arthur Noble and Vella Hohn Brewer Sr. Arthur is married to Dorothy Belle Wallingford Brewer, who survives.

He retired from General Motors and was a WWII Navy Veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Deveron Arthur Lana Brewer of Beaver Creek, Ohio and Doug J. Brewer of McArthur; two daughters, Jennifer David Leslie of Jamestown, Ohio and Brenda Doug Ison of Lexington, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Jason Brewer, Brian Tricia Kyle, Justin Megan Brewer, Nathan Heather Leslie, Brooke and Kelli Ison; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Christine Brewer of Peebles, Ohio, Robert Shirley Brewer of Peebles, Ohio and Donnie Brewer of Xenia and one sister, Judy Larry Copeland of Peebles, Ohio.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, Monte Brewer and one sister, Mary Ruth Duncan.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Max Dungey officiating. Interment will be 2 P.M., Thursday, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Beavercreek, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
