Susan R. Woodgeard

Susan R. Woodgeard, 70, of South Bloomingville, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at her residence. She was born August 3, 1937 in McArthur, daughter of the late Carl Elmer and Margaret Easter McMannus Ashmore. Susan is the widow of the late Willis Franklin Woodgeard.

She is survived by one son, David Jyl Woodgeard of South Bloomingville; one daughter, Vicky Guy Hunter of New Plymouth; four grandchildren, Wendy Bryant, Jason Glenda Woodgeard, Justin Stacie Gross Hunter and Toby Hunter; great grandchildren, David Bryant, Elana Shoemaker, Austin Hunter, Lane Woodgeard and Jayden Woodgeard and several brothers and sisters.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susan was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
