Bonnie Jean Mock

Bonnie Jean Mock, 90, of Logan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 24, 2007. She was born June 15, 1917 in Perry County, daughter of the late Clarence E. and Mayme E. Johnson McCambridge. Bonnie is the widow of the late Harry V. Mock who passed away January 11, 1975.

She was graduate of New Lexington High School Class of 1936, she was secretary for the former Aid for the Aged, Hocking County Soil and Water Conservation and retired from the Hocking County Department of Human Services.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years, she was active in the United Methodist Women, delegate to West Ohio Annual Conference and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and a member of the Marion Grange, Venus Chapter # 76 O.E.S. and P.E.R.I.

She is survived by one son, Paul D. Judy Mock of Logan; two grandchildren, Valerie S. Chris Irwin of Stow, Ohio and Natalie N. Mock attending Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan and a sister-in-law, Jeanne McCambridge of Fostoria, Ohio. She is also survived by nephews Michael McCambridge of Sherman Oaks, California and John McCambridge of York, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Vicki E. Mock, one daughter, Sharon L. Mock, one brother, Ralph D. McCambridge and a niece Cathy McCambridge.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 105 W. Hunter St., Logan with Rev. Brian Arnold officiating. Interment will be in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St., Logan on Monday from 5-8 and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday.
