Ruth Ann Garner

Ruth Ann Garner, 69, of New Straitsville, passed away Monday, November 26, 2007 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born August 12, 1938 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Joshua J. and Ruth B. Dupler Tolliver. Ruth was married to Larry M. Garner, who survives.

She was formerly employed at J & R Parts and Salvage in Logan.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Ronald Garner of Logan; two daughters, Heather Garner of New Straitsville and Holly James Moder of Logan; two grandchildren, Brendan and Aydan Moder; two brothers, James Tolliver of Logan and William Tolliver of Frazeysburg, Ohio and one sister, Nancy Echols of Columbus.

Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, David Tolliver and two sisters, Linda Miller and Sarah Goldsberry.

Honoring Ruth?s wishes, she has been cremated. No services will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
