Betty Jean Carpenter

Betty Jean Carpenter, 71, of McArthur, passed away December 1, 2007 at Four Winds Community in Jackson. She was born February 1, 1936 in Meigs County, daughter of the late Artie and Carrie Phillips Williams.

She retired from Goodyear in Logan and was a member of Truth Church.

Betty is survived by two sons, David Bev Carpenter of Hamden and Daniel Hern of McArthur; one daughter, Vickie Millhouse of Dublin; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Marvin Williams of Galloway and one sister, Ruth Evans of Londonderry.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Brother Jim Eberts officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. No calling hours will be observed.
