Eva M. Barron

Eva M. Barron, 82, of McArthur, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, at Huston Nursing Home in Hamden. She was born June 2, 1925, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Harley and Nellie Pierce Sims. Eva was married to Orville L. Barron, who survives, for 59 years.

She is survived by two sons, William Debra Barron of New Matamoras, Ohio and Terry Bobbie Barron of Laurelville; two daughters, Connie Jake Coleman of McArthur and Jeri Barron of Sherman Oaks, California; six grandchildren, Heath Tami Coleman, Jason Coleman, Jeremy Lindsay Barron, Brooke, Billy and Ashley Barron and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Kenneth Sims and two sisters, Edna Fee and Fern Sims.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Richland Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Huston Nursing Home Activity Fund, 38500 SR 160, Hamden, Ohio 45634.
