Margaret L. Langley

Margaret L. Langley, 91, of Nelsonville, passed away, Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Logan Health Care Center, Logan. She was born September 21, 1916 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Orland and Bess Rosser Gandee. Margaret was the widow of the late Daniel W. Langley Jr.

She retired as a caseworker for Athens County Job and Family Services and was a member of the First Christian Church of Nelsonville.

Margaret is survived by one daughter, Marlene Andy Frazier of Nelsonville; granddaughter, Rebecca Kaiser of Newark; one sister, Helen Mohney of Nelsonville and two nephews, Chuck and Bob Mohney.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Jean Langley; brother, Max Gandee; brother-in-law, Jake Mohney and a nephew, Rob Mohney.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, January 7, 2008, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
