Bernice Geraldine Mcdonald

Bernice Geraldine McDonald, 93, of Buchtel, passed away January 2, 2008 at Logan Health Care Center, Logan. She was born December 4, 1914 in Athens County, daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Coakley Mohney. Bernice was the widow of the late William ?Russ? McDonald.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church.

Bernice is survived by two sons, Richard McDonald of Roseville and Terry Kristy McDonald of Waverly; two daughters, Kay Six of Murray City and Sharon Garry Dunkle of Glouster; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and a brother, Dude Mohney of Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Corkey McDonald; granddaughter, Kathy Six Swope, son-in-law, Ronnie Six, daughter-in-law, Orletta McDonald and a brother, Charles ""Jake"" Mohney.

Funeral mass will be held 10 A.M., Monday, January 7, 2008 at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church with Father David Cornett officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Buchtel. Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, on Sunday from 4-8 P.M. where a wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
