Richard P. Johnson Sr.

Richard P. Johnson Sr. 62 of Trimble passed away January 7, 2008 in O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. He was born September 7, 1945 in Speight, Ky., son of the late Willie and Maudie Fouts Johnson. He is married to Dolly Maggard Newsome Johnson who survives.

He was a retired coal miner.

Richard is survived by 1 son Richard P. Tonda Johnson Jr. of Trimble, 3 daughters Donna Dane Holbrook of Glouster, Francine Toby Hamby of Florence Kentucky, and Rhonda Michael Holbrook of Trimble. 9 grandchildren, and 1 sister Ilene Tackett of Tram, Ky.

He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Thursday in the Cardaras Funeral Home 30 Main St. Glouster. Interment will be in Bartlett Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6PM Wednesday.
