Charles O. Speck Ringhiser

October 6, 1914 — January 22, 2008

Charles O. Ringhiser, 93, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. He was born October 6, 1914, in Hocking County, son of the late Daniel and Addie Carpenter Ringhiser. Charles was the widow of the late Ellen Shultz Ringhiser.

He retired from Logan Clay Products after 40 years of service and worked for the City of Logan and Hocking County. Charles attended Faith Tabernacle.

He is survived by sons, Robert Ruth Ringhiser of Livingston, Texas, Harold Ringhiser of Chillicothe and Dale Ringhiser of Heath; daughters, Evelyn Brady of Lancaster, Linda Bush of Newark, Carol Ed Donham of Lancaster and Dolores Dan Azbell of Somerset, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was preceded in death by a son, Roger D. Ringhiser; a granddaughter, Karen Brady; four brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Cummin and staff for the wonderful care of our father. Also, a special thank you to all of his special friends and waitresses at Todds Restaurant, including the owners, Harry and Georgia Agganis. Thank you for the smile you put on his face everyday.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 P.M and 6-8 P.M.
