Mary B. Sowers

Mary B. Sowers 83 of McArthur passed away January 25, 2008 in Hocking Valley Community Hospital Logan. She was born March 3, 1924 in Vinton County, daughter of the late William L. and Mamie Malone Brenneisen.

She was the widow of the late Carl Sowers.

Mary retired from Austin Powder Co. and was a member of the McArthur Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived a step daughter Lavonne Bob Slaven of New Mexico, 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. 1 brother Charles Nancy
Brenneisen of Hamden, 1 sister Dorthy Bruce Nutt of Hamden. Also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Earl Stuck and a sister Freda Brenneisen.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home 201 W. High St. McArthur with Rev. William Roth officiating.
Interment will be in Elk Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8PM.
