Alana Jean Mccombs

Alana Jean McCombs, 58, of Nelsonville, passed away, Sunday, January 27, 2008 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1949 in Nelsonville, the daughter of Mary Dana Davis Andrews of Tennessee. She was the widow of the late John “Bill” McCombs.

She was retired from Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida and was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Florida.

She is survived by a son, Jack Michelle Rowe of Goleta, CA; daughters, Jennifer Charley Brough of Miamisburg, Jill Rowe of Nelsonville, Angel Doug Mace of Nelsonville and Sarah Shane Bruce of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Joshua Rowe, Emily Warren, Savannah Hieronimus, Chance Brough, Johnny Brough, Calista Bruce, Garrett Bruce, Alana Bruce, Christopher Mace and Emily Rowe; brothers, John Debbie Cox of Nelsonville and Bill Adams of Heath; sisters, Shirley Junior Pickett Pillaro of Nelsonville, Cindy Tony Neel of Nelsonville, Carol Larry Fultz of Olive Hill, KY and Rebecca Adams of Nelsonville; special friends, Everett Rowe, Kelly Russell and Doris Woods; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Alana was preceded in death by a son, Jamey Rowe and two fathers, James Holland and Russell Adams.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, Buchtel with Father David Cornette officiating. Interment will be at Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Tuesday, January 29, 2008 from 4-8 PM at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
