Kathlean D. Brown

Kathlean D. Brown 73 of Rockbridge, passed away January 28, 2008 at her residence. She was born May 30, 1934 in Hacker Valley, West Virginia daughter of the late Noah and Flora Williams Harper. She was the widow of the late Wallace G. Brown.

Kathlean attended West Pleasant Hill U.B. Church, was the Scrabble Champion of Geauga Co. Senior Citizens, she loved gardening, and was an advocate for the visually impaired.

She is survived by daughters Suzette Jerry Wayman and Kathrean Norton. 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brother Soloman Harper, sisters Weltha Barnett, Kathrean Harper, Nella Gregory, and Rella Hinkle Blagg.

Kathlean was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 2 brothers and Hadji, her seeing eye dog.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday February 16, 2008 at the West Pleasant Hill U.B. Church with Rev. Al Carter officiating. No calling hours will be observed.

Arrangements are by the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
