Marguerite J. Detty

Marguerite J. Detty, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away February 1, 2008 at Westmoreland Place in Chillicothe. She was born July 24, 1922 in Doddrige, West Virginia, daughter of the late John Adam and Delta Cottrill Gain. Marguerite was the widow of the late Clarence W. Detty.

She was a retired nurse and a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union on High Street in Chillicothe.

Marguerite is survived by three sons, James Jackie Detty, Clarence Detty and Ronald Ganyon all of Chillicothe; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one sister, Virginia Tatman of Chillicothe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son.

Graveside services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe with Rev. Bruce Viar officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
