Michael Douglas Spooner

Michael Douglas Spooner, 55, of Millfield, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. He was born October 20, 1952 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Donald and Laura Rectenwald Spooner. Michael was married to Cathy Wachenschwanz Spooner, who survives.

Michael is survived by a son, Dustin Spooner of Wooster; daughter, Jessie Ann Coleman of Millfield; ans granddaughter, Hannah M. Coleman.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Chris Spooner.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4-6 PM.
