Della Faye Loomis

Della Faye Loomis, 97, of The Plains, formerly of Gahanna, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. She was born September 28, 1910 in Athens Co., daughter of the late Charles and Amanda Levine Roberts Fouts. She was the widow of Walter Pearl Loomis.

Della was a former member of Oakdale Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Bonnie Loomis of Gahanna; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Clara Peck.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Eldon Loomis; a daughter, Ruth Ann White; one sister and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the Bishopville Church of Christ, 6555 St. Rt. 78, Glouster, Ohio 45732 with John Wright officiating. Interment is in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster.
