Larry E. Boob Roister Jr.

Larry E. ""Boob"" Roister Jr., 34, of South Bloomingville, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008, as a result of an auto accident. He was born April 13, 1973 in Ross County, son of Connie L. Bob Stevens Roister Rooker of Laurelville and the late Larry E. Roister Sr.

Larry worked for Foor Concrete in Columbus, was a member of Redman Lodge in South Bloomingville and was an expert pool player.

He is survived by a daughter, Montanna Roister of the home; two sisters, Tina Tony Morrison of South Bloomingville and Teresa Jeremy Frank of McArthur; girlfriend, Ellen Tanner of South Bloomingville and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Larry was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Geneva Roister and his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Laurelbelle Stevens.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Salt Creek Valley Community Church in Laurelville with Pastor Jim Vandagriff officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Monday, from 5-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the services at the church. There will be a Redman Lodge service at 7:30 P.M.

The family suggests contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
