Edna P. Carson

Edna P. Carson 96 of Logan passed away March 13, 2008 in Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She was born May 20, 1911 in Mason, West Virginia, daughter of the late Jaspher T. and Blanche Medors Smith. Mrs. Carson was the widow of the late James S. Carson.

She is survived by a son Dan Irene Carson of Nelsonville, daughters Deborah Terry Thrush of Logan, Eilene Yoder of Logan, Barbara Alderman of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Nancy Rollie Shull Noble of Alexandria, Ohio. 12 gandchildren, several great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 2 sisters Ruby Lewis and Helen Knable both of Logan.

Mrs. Carson was preceded in death by a son Joe Carson, a brother William C. Smith, and 2 grandchildren Nathan Edwards and Doreen Prulhiere.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Monday in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St. Logan with Rev. David Rohrer officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00PM Monday in Glen Rest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00AM until time of service.
